There are a few satirical channels on YT that have been able to get away with stuff that most of us could not, eg JP Awakens.
As for the fake comments supposedly by the presenter/author: this is common on YT.
Somebody (or somebot) uses a fake avatar/name pretending to be the channel owner & I gather the scam is to get people to send money. It must work - there are lots of them. I have had several replies like this to comments I have made. They get reported on YT and then like a beheaded hydra, another 10 take their place. Nothing much you can do except be aware, block if you can, and whatever you do, don't respond!
And as for the surveillance: I'm sure I'm on a list or 2 for dissidents & non-compliers. Like you, I'm in the autumn years of my life, and I don't care much anymore. I've never been (or aspired to be) high profile enough to really bother the establishment, and i'm sure that my efforts to hide most of my personal info are about as effective as a cardboard shield for a gunshot - but I've decided to wear my dissident status as a badge of honour. I decided 3 years ago that I wasn't going to play the check-in or vax passport game, and I'm going to continue down that path. I hope they assess me as harmless (though I may not be quite as harmless as I appear) and don't bother me - but I'll do what I can for the resistance, even if it's just sharing a post or 2 here & there!
