Hey, Chemist, Leave Our Shit Alone!
Part 1: A Murky Utopian Biological Surveillance Empire Is Built Right Under Our Toilets. And No One Seems To Notices The Sewer Rats Analyzing Our Shit.
I thought I was done spending days researching and writing for the common good but this is simply too important to ignore. If this article doesn’t go at least moderately viral, I am either “reach censored”, people don’t get it, or people get it but have given up. Let’s find out.
No Regulations
This rabbit hole is deep and dark, mirroring the buried infrastructure of our wastewater systems. The phrase “out of sight, out of mind” is perfect to describe our relationship to our poo and urine. The moment we flush the toilet, our stool is forgotten, gone, anonymized within millions of litres of stinking murky sludge.
So we think.
We used to think similarly when we made a stinky ill-tempered in-the-moment comment under “user54865” within a deeply specialized Reddit thread about something like “How stupid is Deborah Birx?”
More and more people realize now, that powerful AI algorithms could trace it back to our laptops. There is a reason why Viral Private Networks (VPNs) are booming.
Wasterwater surveillance is the bio version of digital surveillance. Digital surveillance targets our minds, wastewater surveillance targets our bodies. Combined they are the wet dream of every totalitarian surveillance nerd.
There are several ways to defend against digital surveillance.
To begin with, we can simply stop posting. However, they will still monitor our digital “activity” through our sophisticated spy devices. But we can turn these off if we want. And there is at least the pretence that we have some legal privacy protection.
Any perceived property and privacy rights are flushed down the toilet as soon you press that button. Immediately, your shit is not your business anymore. Your shit becomes a free-for-all commodity.
While data mining has some legal restrictions, shit mining hasn’t. While difficult, you still can opt out of most digital surveillance. But you can’t opt out of biological surveillance and the public health maniacs love it:
A Dutch microbiologist noted: “Not everyone is getting tested, but everyone goes to the bathroom. It’s nice to have an objective tool that isn’t dependent on willingness to get tested.”
What they do with your shit and the secrets they filter from it is wildly unregulated
WBE [Wastewater-based epidemiology] is virtually unregulated, leaving it unclear what rights people have over their sewage and how others use it. Could landlords evict tenants whose sewer lines test positive for illicit drugs? Could companies coerce workers identified as drug users to rat out their colleagues?
Hidden between an avalanche of hype about the amazing potential of WBE, some critics warn us:
[But] a vocal group of scientists, legal analysts, and privacy experts warn against allowing it to quietly become ubiquitous without sufficient oversight, much as other surveillance technologies, such as facial recognition and Internet tracking, have done or threaten to do. They say it is critical that governments establish guidelines on avoiding unnecessary harms, ensuring appropriate use of data, and consulting with affected communities.
“The thing that’s quite scary to us about wastewater surveillance is that, because it’s kind of icky, there’s stigma and taboo, and it’s not talked about a lot,” said geographer Mohammed Rafi Arefin, a member of the Biosecurities and Urban Governance Research Collective, […]
Arefin predicts that, without reforms, “we’ll see a slow creep of the technology into our everyday lives and into how we are governed. You won’t really know what’s gone wrong until it’s pretty established as a normal, regularized tool of public health.”
Claire Duvallet, a data scientist at Biobot Analytics, […]recognized wastewater epidemiology as “a potential tool of oppression.”
No Transparency
Further, the data transparency reflects the colour of the samples. The possibilities of abuse and manipulation make the ramped-up PCR-test manipulations look like child’s play in comparison.
To start with, they can simply lie. I accidentally tripped over a biosurveillance lie and consequently fell into this rabbit hole when I wrote
An aboriginal elder reported this from the Australian outback:
I asked the people in charge about how we knew that the community had Covid-19. I was told that it was in the sewerage water. Later, I made inquiries, and the people who looked after the sewerage treatment plant said that no one got samples of the sewerage water. It was all lies that they told us.
We don’t know for sure if they took samples and if they were lying or not.
But that is not the point.
The point is, if they wanted or needed to justify and “sell” totalitarian human-right violations to the public, the “we detected a community outbreak of a killer virus in the wastewater” narrative would do the job. Immediately.
A whole nation of nervous psy-opped wrecks would scream: “Lock them away. Keep us safe.”
But who would lie about such a thing? And why?
If nefarious public health criminals in bed with globalist health control nutters are too conspirational for you, consider these actors:
The public health sector is littered with germophobes on an anal-compulsive mission of war to fight current public enemy No.1 - microscopic small viruses that have been around and always will be around in the trillions.
This invisible army hides in every perceivable space within or outside our bodies. That is just a fact and never really bothered anyone much - ever.
The overwhelming majority of people trusted that their healthy immune systems would neutralize them as they have done since the beginning of humanity. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be here anymore.
Miraculously, humanity survived without public health interventions for 99.999% of its existence. Or vaccines, for that matter.
Viral outbreaks of the past were strongly correlated with a low standard of hygiene and disappeared almost entirely because of that. That vaccine had something to do with this is a myth. But I digress.
If viruses are a problem to germophobic virus warriors, they should seek psychological help, not be paid to wage a war that is impossible to win.
The public health sector is also littered with woke marshmallows on a “safe-every-soul” mission, no matter the costs to whole communities.
The so-called Covid pandemic is the biggest case study on irrationality ever conducted. The financial future of nations, and the mental and physical health of millions - down to little children - were sacrificed to save “grandma” from a harmless virus for most people.
These ideological goodie-goodies, empowered and drunk with self-importance and righteousness, justified and unleashed terrible harm on billions of people. These boring bureaucratic sticklers, devoid and incapable of any real love for humanity, will twist and tweak wastewater surveillance data to serve “the greater good” like zealous religious fanatics.
And who would or could stop them? Who could mount a critical challenge and go to the bottom of this totalitarian shithole to uncover the truth?
When an athlete undergoes a blood or urine test for doping, the regulations state, that half of the drawn fluids have to be separated and sealed. If the athlete tests positive and wants to challenge it, the sealed vial is handed to his legal team so they can do their own testing.
No such thing with wastewater testing, of course.
I will explain the highly complex and very specialized process of WBE in a future part of this series. For now, you just have to believe me that global wastewater testing is not only extremely error-prone, but it is also firmly in the hands and controlled by only a handful of “experts”. These scientific experts, their research funding, careers, and income depend almost entirely on public health authorities and the associated universities.
But even if a non-corrupted independent investigative mainstream journalist - I know, a silly dream of the past - would have the determination to dig up shit and investigate the bottom of this bureaucratic deep-state toilet pit, it can’t be done.
While, in theory, she could crawl down some sewer pipes to collect samples, she will need a lot of environmental public data about flow rates, rainfall, temperature, virus-shedding patterns and dozens more to analyze the samples in meaningful ways.
And which lab will do it? Only very few can and all are tightly associated with the public health bureaucrats.
Currently, there is a lawsuit about GMO contamination of the Covid-vaccine in Australia. When the plaintiffs approached labs in Australia to test for GMOs all of them refused. They had to send it all the way to Canada. The scientific community of Australia seems to be either corrupted by or scared of the deep state. Probably both.
And even if all the stars align, it will take weeks and her data will not be comparable with the original claims and dismissed. The flow of virus-carrying shit is highly dynamic.
For all the above reasons and more, it is impossible to get any transparency on wastewater surveillance around the globe.
The people who control this tool will control the narrative about public health for individual nations and globally. And it will go far beyond viruses and pandemics.
Eventually, all of our biological secrets and privacy will be delivered to these controlling nerds via our urine and stool.
This scientific paper points out that wastewater surveillance has
“a wide variety of purposes that include estimating: rates of consumption of illicit drugs, alcohol, tobacco, elicit pharmaceuticals and foodstuffs; human exposure to pollutants”
Add meat, DNA, bacteria and many other biomarkers. And, of course, more viruses:
Hundreds of local governments and sewer authorities also embraced testing, and the Centers for Disease Control created a National Wastewater Surveillance System to collect and publish data on COVID-19 levels across the country. The agency is now planning to expand the program to monitor influenza, respiratory syncytial virus, foodborne illnesses, monkeypox, and the infectious fungus Candida auris.
They add variety as they go. They also plan a global network:
Researchers in the US recently did some modelling showing that up to 2.5 billion people globally could be monitored using wastewater surveillance, through regular sampling of 105,000 wastewater facilities.
Under the disguise of early detection and public health, public health agencies are building a wastewater surveillance empire right under our noses and no one seems to smell it.
If this article made you a bit constipated, don’t despair.
There is a simple remedy to the surveillance:
The city dwellers have to get a little more creative, but there is always a way.
I imagined a lot of transhuman futuristic horror scenarios - but smuggling our shit out of our apartment and dumping it around the local police station wasn’t one of them.
With humour and unity, these anal-retentive idiots won’t stand a chance.
Pink Floyd saw it all coming
We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Chemists, leave our shit alone
Hey! Chemists! Leave our shit alone!
Keep your shit together, people.
I'm sure the original Pink Floyd lyric was "Leave our skids alone".
I don't know why this stack didn't attract more attention. Authorities were already using wastewater detection to inform us of areas with high drug use, and during lockdown to detect, supposedly, areas with active cases of c to instill fear. It will only be more widely used in future. Looking forward to the bypassing methods?
