I agree with everything you say about EA. It's just another way to collect funds to be used by the technocrats to drive behaviours they desire. I think Matthew Crawford wrote up some work on EA just after the FTX collapse.
I disagree that we shouldn't have long term plans. But who sets the plans and for whose benefit is important. The North American Indians look 7 generations ahead and take the planet into account. Seems like a good approach.
Before Covid, I thought BG was a humanitarian. He's prob worried if he leaves the $ to his family, they would actually do something good or at least not contribute to evil. I read somewhere he's only leaving them 1%.
There was a time when anyone making decisions that benefit them, was called corruption….

Since EA philosophy has nothing to do with morality, I think its proponents could more aptly be called immoral philosophers.
“Intellectual guilt inducing garbage” 😆👍
Because nothing says, “let’s practice the teachings of Jesus” like letting people starve. SHAME!!
Id like to "like" this, but I see no "like" button!
One like button is right at the top of the article. Another should be at the bottom. It is heart-shaped.
I just opened the article from another log in and the buttons were there.
But you never know.
Let me know if you still can’t find it.
Thanks for reading.
