Did Taking LSD Got JFK Killed?
An interesting time line on a Rogan podcast sparks curious speculations
The theory that Kennedy was taking LSD was put forward by German author and history researcher Norman Ohler, a very recent guest on the Joe Rogan Experience (Episode #2183).
This is a mind-blowing, fact-based, and meticulously researched podcast. It deals mainly with the methamphetamine-fueled Blitzkrieg and the opiate and cocaine abuse of Adolf Hitler. It reveals convincing, bullet-proof-appearing and never before published evidence of Hitlerโs drug intake, meticulously written down and archived by his personal doctor. But that is another story.
Regarding Kennedy, Ohler also did extensive research on the history and usage of LSD.
In that context, right at the end of the podcast (2:54:56), Ohler addresses Kennedy's astounding turnaround in his historic peace speech and hypothesizes, supported by convincing evidence, that it was LSD experiences that changed Kennedy from a war hawk to a man wanting peace for all people and the whole world.
The key person in this chain of events was the Washington socialite Mary Pinchot Meyer, a friend and probably a lover of John F. Kennedy. (A love letter from Kennedy to Pinchot exists.)
John F. Kennedy and Mary Pinchot Meyer
This article, describes Pinchot as
An artist, she regularly carried a pouch of pot and acid with her, never ceasing to inspire fascination among the Georgetown elite.
According to Ohler, and sourced from Timothy Learyโs autobiography, Pinchot visited Leary in April 1963, disclosing that she has โa very powerful friend I want to do a LSD experience with.โ She asked Leary, a Harvard professor and No.1 LSD researcher in the world at the time, for instructions and the LSD. Leary complied.
Ohler is certain JFK tried LSD, probably several times, and it changed his whole outlook on the world and politics, eventually leading to the peace speech and ultimately to his assassination.
John F. Kennedyโs Remarkable U-Turn And โPeace Speechโ
This historic speech was delivered by the President at the American University on June 10, 1963 (Full transcript here), less than two months after Pinchot took Learyโs LSD back to Washington.
Why was it so remarkable?
Kennedy called for โnot merely peace for Americans, but peace for all men and women โ not merely peace in our time, but peace for all time.โ
Even more remarkable was this line:
What kind of a peace do I mean? What kind of a peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war.
It is very plausible that this sentence got him killed.
And a โPax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of warโ is what the world got, and is still getting, since then. The USA has been involved almost continuously in one war or another since then. That is 60 years of war, practically every day of the year.
That is trillions spent and earned on weapons and wars, and on maintaining the most powerful and expensive army, navy, and air force, the world has ever seen. In all these wars, I canโt recall that the USA even once was attacked directly by another country (disregarding attacks on US embassies in foreign countries that are technically US territory, I suppose)
The widespread use of psychedelics directly contributed to the massive anti-war movement against the Vietnam War in 60ties and early 70ties. It also hugely contributed to the formation of civil rights movements, anti-racism movements, feminist movements and green movements at the time.
How else would Kennedy suddenly turn from a โwar hawkโ to a political John Lennon imitation?
Kennedy initially supported the destructive Cold War arms race narrative.
Until the Cuban Missiles Crisis in October 1962, only eight months before the peace speech, John F. Kennedy was considered a โwar hawkโ.
Like his brother, the president, RFK originally favored an air strike against Cuba.
If you think that it is unlikely and too risky for a sitting president to get high on LSD, please consider that LSD was legal at the time. (It was made illegal by Richard Nixon, who also started the witchhunt to take down and imprison Leary.)
Further, LSD and psychedelics didnโt yet have this label of being a hazardous and addictive life-destroying drug. (It is the opposite, actually). This false label was constructed and propagandized by the โwar on drugsโ narrative. The whole world followed the USA in the reputational destruction of probably the most crucial invention the human race has produced.
If there is one thing that can correct the self-destructive path of humanity, it is LSD and other psychedelics.
Despite the enormous social stigma, several famous billionaires, entrepreneurs and Nobel prize winners openlyย attributed their inventionsย and successes to LSD. The most famous one, so far, is Steve Jobs.
For those new to this topic, โHow to change your mindโ by best-selling author Michael Pollen is a fantastic book about the true power of psychedelics. Some say LSD secretly fueled Silicon Valley. Some say we wouldnโt have the Internet without it. The truth about these matters will only revealed after the stigma is lifted and people are free to talk about all the fantastic things that LSD has so far done for the human race.
Dr. James Fadiman, another early research pioneer, is still active in promoting the fantastic benefits of micro-dosing LSD and published some eye-opening research on the Microdosing Instituteโs webpage. Microdosing is a low-risk, high-benefit way to try psychedelics. And with low-risk, I am not referring to drug side effects. They are extremely low when used with knowledge and wisdom for all doses.
Both the Nazis and the CIA got access to LSD and did intensive (and illegal) but unsuccessful research on LSD to use it as a โtruth serum for interrogationโ and other nefarious and nasty purposes. It appears that LSD canโt be used for evil purposes. Thank you for confirming that for us.
Pharma hasnโt been that interested either, which tells us a lot. Maybe it heals too well? There has been a lot of research on astounding, unprecedented success with PTSD and other mental conditions and addictions. I heard that the FDA recently shut it down for officially sanctioned PTSD therapy.
This is fantastic news. As researchers have sufficiently proven over the past twenty years, the stuff works and gets people off life-long medications. Why else would they shut it down? Killing a billion-dollar industry for all sorts of medication that โmanageโ people for the rest of their lives?
LSD touches people like no other drug. While other drugs seem to take you out of reality, LSD takes you into a more profound, more true, more real reality, with deeper meaning, more love and more intelligence.
While other drugs can leave you with a hangover, LSD leaves you with a new, better view of the world and leaves you intensely connected to everything.
And research shows that these changes are lasting. Our brains get literally rewired in a better, more connecting, peaceful, loving and intelligent way. Thatโs why people call psychedelics spiritual drugs.
In that context, the historic peace speech comes as no surprise.
As we all know, it didnโt end well for Kennedy. He was assassinated only five months after the peace speech.
The War Hawks won. Again. LSD lost. But this story canโt be undone. LSD can be made illegal, but it canโt be uninvented anymore. There is still hope for world peace for all people.
We might have to wait a while before significant and influential people use it again, but we donโt have to. We are not helpless sheep who need to wait.
As the sixties have shown, powerful grassroots movements are real and can flare up within months. It all depends on how much longer people behave like chickens and only do what they are told to do. (This is an insult to chickens; left alone and set free, they are more independent than most people)
LSD doesnโt have to be added to drinking water, as Leary suggested. Many people are preparing and filtering their own drinking water these days. I donโt want to incite people to do something illegal, of course, because that could cause me trouble.
These suggestions are only for countries where LSD can be legally used.
Thank you so much, you overlords, for allowing us to ingest what we want. We are obviously too stupid to decide what is good for us, so we need you to make that decision for us and punish us if we donโt listen.
Where would this world end up if people freely used medicines and foods they liked without asking for permission? No one ever put in law that we have a human right to ingest whatever we like. What a silly idea.
We donโt want more Mary Pinchotโs seducing and inciting presidents to make sudden, ridiculous peace speeches that could derail the war gravy train, do we?
Sadly, Mary Pinchot was also killed a few months later under the most mysterious circumstances involving a three-letter agency that did not start with A or B. She was shot in bright daylight while jogging.
In an amazing coincidence, her flat was broken into simultaneously, and the only thing reported missing was her diary, in which she kept notes about the naughty things she was up to with crazy presidents. No one wants to read crazy shit like that.
World peace without a Pax Americana?
Now, how crazy is that? These horrible drugs really fuck with peopleโs minds, even the well-controlled minds of presidents. So good they are all banned.
Beer is so much better for the people. Such an inspiring, uplifting and intelligence-inducing beverage.
Prost. To world peace.
PS: Hey Bobby, if you read this - is there some unfinished family business?
The US war machine is the most destructive global influence. It corrupts politicians, kills and maims people, destabilizes countries which in turn effects mass migrations, requires excessive use of fossil fuels and other environmentally unfriendly commodities, requires deficit spending which leads to global money printing/inflation, concentrates power in the hands of the few weapons manufacturers and those they control, requires totalitarian strategies of information control, fear propagation, and censorship to control the sheople, requires taxing and debt issuance to fund the violenceโฆIf we the people could pick just one thing to prioritize it should be to end our 60 year tradition of escalating global violence.
Have you read CHAOS the story of the Manson family murders? Itโs well researched and the author provides evidence that regular LSD dosing was part of the protocol used by Charlie to control the young girls he attracted and even compelled those โbrainwashedโ previously passive young people to commit unheard of violent atrocities against those in the Tate and LaBianca homes. Perhaps one example of LSD used for non virtuous purposes?
Suspect that RFK2 is, um, experienced.
