Did Matt Hancock literally "deploy" new variant?
Groundbreaking Research from Japan: Someone created and released Omnicron Variants from the Lab.
In March 2023, Matt Hancock’s Whatsapp messages were leaked.
At the height of the pandemic, then-Health Secretary Matt Hancock wanted to announce a new Covid variant to "frighten the pants off everyone", leaked WhatsApp messages have revealed.
We probably all remember this. But we never questioned the “announce” part. We assumed he was talking about releasing the news that a new, naturally mutated variant is circulating.
Here is the Whatsapp conversation:
Mr Hancock's adviser said: "Rather than doing too much forward signalling, we can roll pitch with the new strain."
"We frighten the pants of everyone with the new strain," Mr Hancock responded.
"But the complication with that Brexit is taking the top line," he said, in an apparent reference to media coverage of the UK's EU exit.
"Yep that's what will get proper behaviour change," the adviser said.
"When do we deploy the new variant," Mr Hancock said.
The last comment by Mr. Hancock, “When do we deploy the new variant?”, has suddenly gained a deeper and more literal meaning, thanks to the two renowned Japanese virologists, Professors Atsushi Tanaka and Takayuki Miyazawa of Osaka Medical University and Kyoto University.
At the time, I, like most, read this as a figure of speech for releasing the news about the new Omnicron variant that had mutated naturally.
Now, it seems very plausible that this statement was meant literally. If the two Japanese scientists are correct, someone created all Omnicron variants in a lab and released them. They didn’t mutate naturally.
In hindsight, it is odd that he says it like that if he only talks about releasing the news. It would be much more natural to say: “When do we let the public know about the new variant.” Deploying the variant means having the variant at his disposal and releasing it. As he talked in private, he might not have guarded and watched his words and said it as it is.
This turns an already very dark story into an outright evil tale.
The Highwire, amongst others, reports on this shocking new study.
A stunning Japanese study that has evolved from preprint to peer-reviewed publication suggests that all COVID-19 variants were engineered in biolabs and intentionally released upon humanity. First released in August 2023, the study, […] affirms that the push to keep COVID around is part of a nefarious deep state scheme to remove our individual freedoms and control us.
In October, The People’s Voice picked up the story. It even got two “Fact-checked” ticks (not that this means much these days):
This is the first time I've heard about it, and we must wonder why this story didn’t go viral immediately. This is big.
From the get-go, many critical thinkers suspected something deliberate and sinister was happening with this so-called pandemic. So many things didn’t add up.
The odds directly supported that the original Wuhan virus was created in the lab, and this was later confirmed by scientists, the FBI, and the CIA. Still, people talked about a “lab leak”. A deliberate release was rarely discussed, even in resistance alt media.
We still don’t have bulletproof evidence that the original Wuhan virus was released. But now we have outstanding scientific evidence that all the Omnicron variants were created in a lab. And if that is true, they must have been deliberately released into the population. Or “deployed”, as Matt Hancock puts it.
Here is the process the scientists used:
Tanaka and Miyazawa wanted to trace the historical evolution of the omicron variant of SARS-CoV2.
To trace the variant’s origins, they studied viral sequences found “in the wild” and deposited in public databases.
In doing this they found around 100 separate omicron subvariants that could not conceivably have arisen through natural processes.
The existence of these variants seems to provide definitive proof of large-scale lab creation and release of COVID-19 viruses.
Moreover, the variants appear to form comprehensive panels of mutations typical of those used in “reverse genetics” experiments to systematically test the properties of different parts of viruses, Substacker PSMI wrote.
Let’s hear directly from the scientists. (Source):
Surprised by their findings, the scientists remarked:
“As a result, we concluded that the formation of part of Omicron isolated BA.1, BA.1.1, and BA.2 was not the product of genome evolution, as is commonly observed in nature, such as the accumulation of mutations and homologous recombinations. Furthermore, the study of 35 recombinant isolates of Omicron variants BA.1 and BA.2 confirmed that Omicron variants were already present in 2020. The analysis showed that Omicron variants were formed by an entirely new mechanism that cannot be explained by previous biology, and knowing how the SARS-CoV-2 variants were formed prompts a reconsideration of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
These results suggest that the establishment of BA.1-0.1 and BA.1.1-0.1 isolates occurred independently. On the other hand, if reversion mutations caused each of these isolates with one amino acid different to the Wuhan-type, these isolates could be detected by examining an astronomical number of isolates. However, these virus strains were detected in the number of sequenced whole genomes (a limited number), rather than in astronomical numbers examined. The fact that most of these mutations occurred without synonymous mutations suggests that none of them arose as a result of trial-and-error random mutations in nature.”
In their conclusion, quite unusual for scientists, they don’t mince words. It appears they are as shocked as we should be about what this all means:
“Nonetheless, the analysis we have shown here concludes that the Omicron variants were formed by a completely new mechanism that cannot be explained by previous biology. The process of how SARS-CoV-2 mutations occurred should prompt a reconsideration of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. If the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic strain is an artificially mutated virus and if the corona disaster (corona hoopla) was a well-designed global experiment in human inoculation and a social experiment, then the design of this experiment and the nature of the virus used make it likely that this experiment (corona hoopla) is a preliminary experiment.”
Absolutely no doubt the variants are lab-made
They suggest the whole pandemic should be reconsidered as “corona hoopla”, a well-designed global experiment in human inoculation and a social experiment.
And they warn that this was a “preliminary event”, meaning “something that proceeds another similar event”.
It looks like another conspiracy theory can safely be ticked off as accurate.
This should be all over the world’s headlines since August. Police in many countries should have started investigations. That this hasn’t happened in the past four months is very concerning.

It's difficult to consider that it can be deployed?
This was actually known quite early on, from the variant gene trees.
(If you think the genetic sequencing of the SARS-CoV-2 virus was a total fake, none of the following will make sense. I am not talking to you guys here.)
In the natural course of evolution - i.e. once the original virus is released to do its thing - mutations occur pretty much randomly, which means just one or 2 nucleotides at a time. The genetic tree shows how all the variants are related to each other, and most probably evolved. (This is an amazing bit of detective work, made possible by all the gene sequencing technology now available to us. I had a look at it from time to time as it evolved, all quite publicly available.
This is a link to one of them - it's harder & harder to follow now, with so many variants.
https://nextstrain.org/ncov/gisaid/global/6m)
And they all do form a tree, with each variant seeming to evolve from one of the previous ones, in a fairly natural and expected pattern.
Until Omicron.
Omicron variant is not related particularly to any of the variants that were circulating at the time. It seems to have formed its own branch of the family tree, from the original Wuhan variant.
No intermediate variants (gene sequences) have ever been found.
This has been explained by the Scientific Authorities as most likely because it had mutated quietly in a remote village in Africa...
Or maybe in the body of an immuno-compromised person, where the evolutionary process got somehow speeded up in secret.
(There are probably a couple of other "possibilities" that have been floated, all equally implausible. We, the peasants, are supposed to bow to the expertise of our Masters - i.e. "Trust the Science" -and not notice the significance of this, and certainly not to ask awkward questions about it.)
Anyhow, I have not yet read this paper, but I will do so. It sounds worth reading. But the clues were all there, way back when the gene sequence for Omi was released.
Oh, and if Matt Hancock wanted to scare the pants off people, Omi was not very successful. Though admittedly, they tried.
Omi was a much less nasty virus - it preferred the upper respiratory tract, where most people have good immune protection against such things, and so it was much, much less likely to get deep into your lungs - and thence into your blood stream - and do all the damage.
Omi has been a good thing, overall. It was very contagious, hence it wiped out most of the earlier more virulent strains. And all those people who got infected with Omi (I am pretty sure I was one of them, though I never got officially tested back in Feb 2021 when I got Covid and Omi was beginning to overtake Beta as the dominant strain in Australia) managed to develop some nice natural immunity. (Er... as long as they hadn't succumbed to bullying and fear propaganda and got injected - thereby bypassing the need for the virus to push its own way into your bloodstream.)
So up yours, Matt. And Dan, Annastacia, Scomo... and the rest of them.
If that is what you intended, it was a damp squib.
