Is Jesus God or the son of God?
The incredible depth of Christian spirituality presented by Sasha Latipova
Sasha Latipova replied to something I posted yesterday. For context, I have put the entire post at the bottom.
In a nutshell, I pointed out the hypocrisy of Christianity and how an imaginary reincarnated Jesus would fall victim to them in the same way the historical Jesus was killed by the Jews. I pitched Jesus against Christianity (in which he had no investment at all - the Christians literally hijacked and meddled and misrepresented a lot of his teachings and called it Christianity).
In other words, I criticised the spiritually corrupted Christian authorities but paid my respect to what I consider a true mystic: Jesus (Not-Christ). He never carried that surname when alive.
Latipova, an outspoken Christian, didn’t seem to get it all on and hit back with silly semantics rather than critically examine the state of Christianity.

Jesus is not God, he is the son of God. You should learn the basics of the topic you want to criticize.
I replied:
Is he, Sasha? You state that as if this is a scientifically proven fact, absolute truth.
This is a narrative that some people believe and created out of thin air. I heard many Christians proclaim a slightly different narrative - that Jesus is God. Others again proclaim and believe a narrative that he is both. Or even three things, including the holy spirit.
Others again - non-Christians - believe a narrative that he is neither God nor the son. Another group, which includes myself, believes that he was a mystic. Some atheists and rationalists would say: “Show me the birth certificate that states God as the father, and ……where is the mother?
When it comes to Christian magical thinking and fantastic beliefs there are no basics. Basics imply there is an original solid ground on which a narrative is built. Something at least vaguely related to logic and reason and reality.
So get off your high Christian horse and pretend you know something here that I don’t know. Jesus being God or the son of God is a metaphor misunderstood by most at best and pure fiction at worst.
Most Christians (including many priests) are simply too dumb to understand the metaphors Jesus used and keep using them literally which makes no sense at all.
Have a good day and don’t forget to pray that all your wishes come true and the evil guys will be punished by Jesus. Or will it be God? Or both?
I hardly managed the Christian cognitive dissonance as a five-year-old - it still blows me away that intelligent grown adults with a science degree can.
The Context:
2. What would happen if Jesus would reincarnate and walk this Earth again
Our Self-Policing Fascist State
An old friend asked, “Why?. Why do they do this?” Because if we knew we’d hunt them down and burn their palaces over their heads. If we could get clear of them, if we got free, the world would light up with a creativity and strength that would create not just a paradise, but a home where God can walk. That divine spark of reason is within all of us. Their work has been to hide it, and if possible destroy it.
I tell you what would happen to your Jesus God if he were foolish enough to reincarnate into a human body and walk this Christianity-indoctrinated world again:
Pretty much the same as what happened to the historical Jewish Jesus.
The Christians would kill him because the new Jesus would point out the Christian hypocrisy in the same way the historical Jesus did with the Jewish hypocrisy.
So be careful what you wish for. He would destroy all your magical thinking about God that was created by the religions, throw you back onto yourself and force you to see reality. Not the reality about others, your enemies. The reality about yourself.
That is the only business of prophets, holy men and women, mystics or whatever you call them: To turn around your gaze so you destroy your false hypocritic self and find your true Self. They never point to the sky to some imaginary Gods. They always point to you.
Jesus: “The kingdom of heaven is within you.”
I share your interpretation of the Jesus story as described in the New Testament. His life was an example. He wasn’t about hierarchy or power. He was about humility (washing people’s feet) and generosity (fishes and loaves). Maybe the coolest dude ever?
I personally think you are all misinterpreting the bible - or at least the story of Jesus.
It’s a retelling of the story of Mithras for one and it’s about the astrological cycle, which ties into the story of the raising of the Christ within. For more in depth understanding of this listen to Santos Bonacci or others who discuss this. Jesus is the sun (son).
I think the greatest trick ever played on humanity wasn’t convincing them that the devil is real, it was convincing them that the bible is talking about a real man when talking about the Christ.
It is an allegory for the true path to spiritual awakening, and the process that occurs when you follow the path to awaken God within. When you understand this the bible begins to make sense.
I know there will be Christian’s who will probably attack me for this (revealing their own ignorance) but like so many things in our world the truth has been hidden in plain sight. If people knew the power that resides in them they’d understand why they who would control us have done this and why they are truly afraid of us.
Some really good books covering this are:
God-Man: The Word Made Flesh by George Carey
The Light of Egypt: The Science of the Soul and Stars by Thomas Burgoyne
The Devil’s Pulpit by Reverend Robert Taylor
The Zodiac and the Salts of Salvation by Thomas Burgoyne.
We are so much more than we realise and this is what they are afraid of us realising and why they are so desperate to kill us or convert us into transhumans.
