Can The System Be Fixed?

Maybe, but why would you? Don't you think we deserve better?

The short answer is “no”.

That is a good thing because I believe we can do much better than replacing a dysfunctional materialistic system with a functional one.

But, for what it is worth, no, it can’t be fixed.

This “no” is not a pessimistic assessment but a holistic consideration.

Fixing something means restoring it to a similar, functioning state as it was before it started to break or decay. But that’s not how nature and evolution work.

In nature, things evolve and adapt to life's constantly changing circumstances (“The will of God” in old spiritual language).

That’s why systems, any system, should not be fixed. They should evolve.

Companies with only one product, say a car, won’t survive for long if they “only” fix things. No, they create better models.

The attitude of “fixing” is based on the outgoing paradigm of rational materialism on an upper level of organisation and a paradigm of power, control, greed and exploitation on a lower level. And underneath that lurks the old animalistic version of us—the ego level.

Each level has its own core beliefs, which inform the attitudes, culture, politics, control tools, exploitation, and daily actions of that level.

This can be visualized on a canvas.

This is a simple digital and binary matrix visualization of the current increasingly dysfunctional system.

But reality is a so much more complex Matrix.

That’s why binary paradigms will need to evolve - or die.

Across—left to right—reality paints the wavery green lines of all the cultural organisations—science, sports, arts, politics, gossip, hero tales, meaningful songs, architecture, parenting values, and thousands more. On the intersecting nods, they interact and affect each other.

Then, thousands of important, super-conscious random events weave an even more complex multi-dimensional web. We will be able to visualize this only after a much-needed hardware upgrade.

The required increase in connectivity within our brain and society will increase from left (standard brain) to right (psychedelic/spiritual brain)

I use psychedelic/spiritual interchangeably because brain scans from people in deep meditation and psychedelics look similar.

The real-world Matrix is dramatically more complex and energetic, and our current simple binary systems cannot process the increasing complexity of 8 billion minds and behaviours for much longer.

Hence the urgent rush for total control. For the old paradigm guard, things are getting out of control. The old guard can’t relax in chaos.

That might be the real reason for the frantic, irrational increase in “green” energy. It is not to replace fossil energy. It is to add to fossil energy because the energy demands for controlling 8 billion evolving organisms via AI surveillance will be immense.

We all have heard of the immense energy demands of cryptocurrency mining. Much more will be required to spy on us all, collect and store the data, analyze it, and deploy targeted nudging and propaganda.

The old binary straight-jacket system of control, power and exploitation will eventually be entirely overwhelmed by the wildly and rapidly sprouting creativity and diversity of the newly evolving spiritual/psychedelic mindsets of a dawning new paradigm.

Of course, it is unimaginably bigger than us.

It will evolve - with or without us.

Psychedelic/spiritual intelligence has perhaps woven the fabric of the universe forever, but our very limited ego minds don’t have the capacity to process it.

Like any species - insects, birds, lizards etc. - we survived in a niche.

The human niche.

The tiny slither of reality that meets our needs.

Everything else—our brain filters out. Simple binary functioning—good vs. bad, kill or be killed, exploit or be exploited—worked well when there were enough other species and resources at our disposal that we could kill and exploit for our own survival.

But we have become too many - victims of our success.

All that is left is to kill each other and exploit each other.

It is profoundly materialistic because the deepest level of our existence is based on ego-consciousness, the idea that we are a separate entity in a physical body.

All our problems are related to this old paradigm's core belief.

Nisargadatta Maharaj:

All you need is to get rid of the tendency to define your self. All definitions apply to your body only and to its expressions. Once this obsession with the body goes, you will revert to your natural state, spontaneously and effortlessly

This natural state is not body-centred and physical, and perhaps the only way to overcome this limited materialistic world without mass murder.

If we don’t evolve, we die. And I don’t think this change will come as a sudden dramatic change of events, like a revolution.

No, the change is already happening, has never stopped, is in constant process, and, in another way of thinking about it, a model of layers upon layers of simultaneous realities happening.

This model lets go of the old paradigm of time and space, which are mere functions of the ever-moving human ego-mind and, therefore, a mind-based illusion.

Sages of all times agreed—and it is pretty easy to understand—that the only real time that exists is “now.” The past is obviously only in the mind - as memory. And the future - the projected extrapolation of our past is only in the mind - as imagination and fantasy.

In the evolving paradigm, “time” can not be measured anymore. For those who can adapt quickly enough, it will be living in a “permanent now.” Another word for “permanent now” is “eternity.” In old-paradigm religious language: “The Kingdom of Heaven - Paradise.”

This little bubble of time-space existence floats and is embraced by the layered timeless eternity of un-self-conscious existence. "Eternity” as a spiritual concept has been used since the beginning of ego consciousness because eternity is the twin brother of ego consciousness.

They are two sides of the same coin. The absence of ego-consciousness is experienced as eternity—not meaning that time does stand still—but time is no more. The absence of eternity is ego-consciousness—the sense of existing as a separate entity in time and space.

The fact that prophets and sages talk about eternity for eternity hints at a layered model of existence and not a time-based process.

But all that is just insignificant mind play.

The only thing that matters is that we become absolutely convinced that the way out of an almost inevitable extinction is not through a materialistic ego-based existence but through realising our true nature as spirit.

Of course, the materialistic functioning of the physical world will continue. It will not only continue but—once freed from the ego illusion—balance and heal itself.

A liberated soul needs very little and has a lot to share.

This simple attitude is sufficient to guarantee the survival of our species.

There are countless ways to liberate ourselves from the ego illusion. We don’t need to seek them out. We will take care of the path as soon we understand what is required - urgency, intention, and earnestness.

The proper teaching or teacher will appear at the right time.

And as soon we are on the path, great calmness and peace will be our reward. The rest is just ripening on the tree of life - until we fall into God’s arms.
